This is where it is all pulled together. In the implementation section of the Local Comprehensive Plan we try to identify the strategies and responsible parties for aiding the town in achieving the goals laid out in the initial section and each of the following more detailed discussion. For instance, if in the Open Space section we identify a need to provide a bicycle path along Route 6, in this section we identify who will be the responsible lead agency at the local level. Obviously such a recommendation as the one suggested would require state action. Other less theoretical actions, such as improved sidewalk facilities in each village center (benches, sidewalks, trash barrels) would require assignment of these actions to particular town entities. This section achieves the requirements of the following section of Chapter 41 Section 81D:
(9) Implementation program element which defines and schedules the specific municipal actions necessary to achieve the objectives of each element of the master or study plan. Scheduled expansion or replacement of public facilities or circulation system components and the anticipated costs and revenues associated with accomplishment of such activities shall be detailed in this element. This element shall specify the process by which the municipality’s regulatory structures shall be amended so as to be consistent with the master plan.

GOOD MORNING TO ONE AND ALL!!! IF, IN THE END, THE DENNISPORT CENTER TRULY REFLECTS THE ABOVE DEPICTION, IT WILL BE THRILLING!!!!
50 PLUS YEARS AGO OUR CENTER WAS BUSTLING AND VIBRANT EVEN WITHOUT WHAT WE HAVE TODAY. NO AMOUNT OF CHAINS LIKE
CVS, LOWE’S, HOME DEPOT, TARGET, ETC., CAN FILL A VOID CREATED BY A SMALL, QUAINT, AND COZY CENTER’S DISAPPEARANCE. NOR SHOULD THEY.
THE PICTURED BUILDINGS ARE AN EXCELLENT REPRESENTATION OF BOTH CURRENT AND PAST ARCHITECTURE IN THE MIX. IT LOOKS LOVELY AND SHALL DO THE LITTLE CENTER QUITE WELL AS WE TRAVEL DOWN THE FUTURE OF MAIN STREET.
BEST OF LUCK WITH THIS MOST NEEDED PROJECT!!!
