Entitled “Natural Systems” in the Regional Policy Plan, this section of the Local Comprehensive Plan clearly relates to the Town of Dennis Natural Resources. The section will include specific discussions of Regional Policy Plan requirements Water Resources, Coastal Resources, Wetlands, Wildlife and Plant Habitat, and Open Space and Recreation. The section will also address Air Quality which was required under the previous Regional Policy Plan but left out of the current one. This section addresses the following requirements of Chapter 41 Section 81D.
(5) Natural and cultural resources element which provides an inventory of the significant natural, cultural and historic resource areas of the municipality, and policies and strategies for the protection and management of such areas.
(6) Open space and recreation element which provides an inventory of recreational and resources and open space areas of the municipality, and policies and strategies for the management and protection of such resources and areas.
